Has anyone ever went back and corrected boxer records by popular opinion?

Even just including blatant robberies?

No, the commission would have to overturn the decision at a meeting. What the fans think have no bearing on it.

They don't do that except for a few situations, and when it comes to decisions they have to respect what the judges scored the fight, no matter how sh*tty or negligent they were.

Erislandry Lara vs Paul Williams was a blatant robbery, and it was so bad the commission suspended the judges for that fight, which is the most I've ever seen someone do after a robbery (as far as I know).

Lara still has a loss on his record though, and it's not right.
