Who should Mayweather fight next?

If boxers weren't allowed to pick who they fought who would be the logical next opponent for Mayweather.

Manny Pacquiauo

Timothy Bradley (WBO)

Shawn Porter (IBF)

Marcus Maidana (WBA)

BQ: How often do boxers who lose 2 of their last 4 fights get a title shot?

Update:

Just to be clear I wasn't saying it should be 1 of the 4 just they have a belt. I personally think now would be the easiest time for Floyd to legitimately avoid Pac because he has lost 2 of his last 4 but obviously he can't choose Khan instead. (I understand he has and will continue to fight whoever.)

    Should but never would. Its Pacquiao.

    Legitimate or illegitimate Floyd won't care less. He will avoid Pac even if its a fkng crime. That's how cowards do. Run run and run as long as there is ground 'neath his feet.

    Pacquiao, or Bradley, at 147. Pacquiao beat Bradley, or Lara at 154. Those are clearly the 3 most deserving.

    BQ- When Mayweather fought De La Hoya he was 2-2, in his last 4, when Floyd fought Judah, he was coming in off a loss. Look at Mayweather's , and the Klitschko's title defenses, and look at who was out their, and if the guy they faced was deserving. 9 times out of 10, its a big no. When Vitali fought Chisora. Chisora was 2-2, in his previous 4. The two guys that beat Chisora, were undefeated, and never had a chance.

    Well I guess the answer has to be the person who is ranked #1 by the WBC whom I believe at this moment is Luis Carlos Abregu. After all, what's the point in being #1 if someone else is going to get a crack at the championship ahead of you?

    Edit:@Grin - http://wbcboxing.com/wbceng/ratings?layout=edit&id... Although I do seem to remember now that there was recent talk about Pacquaio being the mandatory for Mayweather, as you can see according to their website today Abregu is #1 contender but I concede this is probably just because the list has not been updated since Pacquiao lost his WBO title as he doesn't actually appear on the list at all which would only be accounted for if he was world champion elsewhere. This leads me to say that it is sorry state of affairs when a fighter coming off back to back losses gets put straight in at number 1 despite the fact that Abregu is 35-1 and his only defeat came to the same guy who ripped the title off Pacquaio. Not good, sleazy WBC business as per usual

    Edit2: Scratch that, if you check the list of champions for other organisations it shows that Timothy Bradley is WBO world champion so Abregu is currently ranked #1 by the WBC until I see official WBC news stating otherwise

    1. Bradley --He has the WBO belt and holds wins over Pacquiao,Provodnikov and Marquez

    2 Maidana---He holds the WBA belt and is on a winning roll including over Broner, Soto-Karass

    3. Porter---He holds the IBF belt and is on a winning roll, the last against Devon Alexander

    4. Thurman--He holds an interim belt and is undefeated, his most of wins coming by way KO

    5. Pacquiao---He is definitely the bigger fight but he holds no belt and is 1-2 in his last three fights. He has to beat any of the first four mentioned here to truly deserve a crack and not rely merely on his past reputation which the fans are riding on in insisting a fight with the numero uno welterweight and P4P fighter today.

    Let's be truthful here, does Pacquiao deserves his # 1 ranking by WBC based on his win over a blownup lightweight who is not even rated at 147 lbs., even highly at 140 lbs.? And one even coming off a loss at 140? Shessh!

    It's just a neat ploy of Sulaiman to please Pacquiao and get back to the graces of Arum

    This is as fair an answer you can get. Definitely so much better than Pactards who insist on Floyd ducking despite your given premise.

    Maidana then the winner of Pac and Bradley. I think he should be able to fight who ever he wants at this stage. He has ducked nobody. It's the promoters that have F'ed up the fight with Pacman. Arum and King are both modern day gangsters. The sooner they are gone the better.

    BQ; It happens all the time. Beating Broner gives Maidana the nod.

    Bradley.

    But in the fans eyes, Pacquiao.

    But right now, Bradley is the man on the best recent form

    if its a crime to cherrpick low risk high reward fights? he got no choice but to fight top 5 p4p welters

    if he can lose his boxing license for abandoning his title, he got no choice but to fight his mandatory challenger

    funny but this gives him no choice but to fight all the beasts that arum puts on his path... his dream of retiring healthy becomes impossible he could end up in the place he dreaded most, alis parkinson disease ward

    @oneD

    pac is wbc #1, abregus #2, check your facts brah!

    yep, wbc website aint official yet but everbodys takin solaimans words seriously... check out other rankings

    @teo

    what will soliman gain if he pleases pac/arum and pissing off floyd, lose his million dollar cut on every floyd fights?
