Can it be right for Costa's to use its chain of coffee shops as a mouthpiece for the Conservative party?

I ask because I have noticed that the only newspapers put out for Costa's customers are: The Daily Telegraph, The Times, The Daily Mail and The Sun. I asked a member of staff why those papers were chosen. "We have no choice," She replied. "It is company policy only to purchase those."

I like my coffee without receiving a dose of right-wing politics!

It does seem an odd 'policy' but may fall in line with the parent companies connections and deals with the media and also who they may think thier 'demographic customer' is because some pr team told them that for several thousand pounds.

I would take in my own reading material sir.

Source(s): Really, coffee and politics don't mix well.

We have the Cornish Times in our Costa. They don't support anyone.
