Ear whooshing sensation after yawning or loud talk?

I have a broken eardrum that's healing now. It's been a month and something new has started happening. My ear feels like the muscles tense up after a loud sound or yawn or talking and then sort of release then I hear a whooshing sound or sensation. I've had this before but that was due to me having a sinus infection but it only lasted a day I two. This time it's going on 3 or 4 days and it's not getting better. What am I experiencing? Do I just have an infection?

    Go see your own GP; I'm having difficulty looking in to your ear through my computer monitor.
