Can I transfer the files to run WordPerfect from an old to a new computer?
Old computer was XP. I had manually loaded WordPerfect but have lost the disc and serial number. New computer is Windows 8.1

Actually, it doesn't, and there is even some question whether the old version of WordPerfect is compatible with Windows 8.1.
