Does anyone know a book where it talks about ancient medical remedies?

Also could be modern tribal remedies?

There are indeed a number of such books. If in America, you can go to your county library and look it up - and if you have difficulty with that - well, library staff is paid to help you - just ask. They won't think you're stupid if you have to ask. I actually own several books that talk about medical and surgical therapy during the American Civil War - and a couple that talk about the topic from much earlier. If you wish, just ask, and I'll give you the titles, along with the ISBN numbers, which will enable any bookstore to find a copy for you - and can help with library research, too.

Why, exactly, don't you possess the very basic skill of looking up books under subject headings in an online library catalog? I learned that in, oh, about the second grade.

There are about eleventy zillion such books. If you don't know how to find any, then you don't have the faintest clue how to do "research."

Ah Barry, I did not think about this from a channel. More specifically it is kinda related to my research so I need a book that talks about ancient civilization medicine.

When I get hiccups I always turn to Plato's symposium as a doctor in it describes how to get rid of them.

I would suggest you read the works of Hippocrates and Galen. ( I've read the first but not the second.) They are avialalb on Wikisource

    http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Author:Claudius_Gale... )

and, I would presume, at project Gutenberg.
