Buying a car out of state?

I live in Massachusetts and I'm thinking of purchasing a car in New Hampshire. Is this possible? If so, what will I have to go through? Thank you!

Sure, you can purchase an automobile in any state of the nation. The process will pretty much be identical regardless of where the vehicle is purchased. Once you have the signed over clear title and bill of sale simply take both to the MA DMV office for title transfer.

Yes, you can buy a car ANYWHERE. When you bring it back to your home state to register it, it's a simple matter of having it inspected and the title transferred. Oh... You will also have to pay taxes in your home state.

Yes, its possible and it might even be a good idea. MA requires sellers to provide warrantys and that increases prices.

You wont get that warranty in another state and it should mean a lower price.

But if you have smog, it has to pass your states smog.

You can buy a car anywhere, pretty much.
