is there a button that makes imbd know that you watched that movie?

like i watched this movie i dont want it in my recommend set but if someone else looks at my profile he sees that i have watched ... " these movies " ....

To mark the movie as seen you need to rate it. Imdb relies on movie ratings so if they allowed a seen button then not many people would rate the movies therefore the rating become unreliable.

Best thing is clicking on show ratings, then rating the movie
