Still need an answer . . .?

2002 Firebird Trans Am. When I use the remote lock or unlock the headlights will open and then close. After they close the left motor grinds for about 4-5 seconds. If I use the key to unlock the door all is normal. Any thoughts?

    Magiccharm - The headlights on a Firebird are behind doors that open when the lights are turned on. They are not suppose to open and immediately close when the remote is used.

    Have you read your manual? My headlights flash when I remotely unlock. I assume that is to help locate your car in a lot.

    It sounds like there is a relay getting stuck.
