What would you do? Religion and your children?
My parents are I guess Catholic but we never went to church and they never talked about it when we were growing up. As a result I was able to choose and follow whatever I felt was right, and I want my son to have that too. Currently I'm agnostic, and in my mom's older age she's becoming increasingly religious. She has started talking about ghosts and heaven and creepy things like she suggests my son is watching the ghost of my dead grandmother when he's laughing at the ceiling, etc. It bothers me and I told her I'm not raising him with religion, I'll just teach him if he asks and take him to church if he asks. She disagreed but in the sense "you're wrong, I'm going to tell him what I believe." She's already violated a lot of my rules- she pulled off his cord when he was just two weeks old, she scratched off his cradle cap and his head was raw and sore, she even fed him food when he was only three months old when I told her the plan was to wait for 6 months. I'm at the point where I don't trust her around my son at all.
What would you do?

Tell her she can't see him unless she abides by your wishes. You know.....Jesus isn't your mom.
