My Veggy wife is fed up of being offered forms of pasta and things with goats cheese in restaurants. What annoys you on restaurant menus?

I hate it when the picture looks way different from the picture. The picture is a juicy burger but when you get it its a nasty gristle filled patty of grease! About the vegetarian thing, I can kind of relate. My mom can't eat at most restaurants because they don't have any vegetarian meals. Sometimes she will order something that looks like it has to meat but when she gets it she finds meat or something else that she can't eat.

You went to the restaurant. What the hell is the problem? If you don't like what they offer, make it at home or open your own damn restaurant
hmmm, it annoys me when I go to an Italian restaurant and there's no Hispanic foods on the menu. Get a life!
stop going to a steakhouse expecting vegetarian food!

To Shelby: Unless you've worked in a restaurant before, you wouldn't know that the managers are constantly on the servers' backs about up-selling to customers. So unless you specifically told your server you're vegetarian, then YES they will ask if you'd like to add chicken to your salad. It's just a part of our job, so no, all servers are not bimbos.

I hate when the menu has too many items or is confusing to navigate. id rather go somewhere that does a handful of things really well than a bunch of random stuff okay

I am a vegetarian, and it bugs the hell out of me when I order something minus the meat and the. I get asked if I want to add chicken or fish. I am pretty sure that most servers are complete bimbos, because chicken and fish definitely count as meat.
