How is suggesting to someone who has the symptoms of an STD that maybe they should see a doctor = a TOS Violation.?

Update:

I carefully said = maybe = I am not allowed to diagnose in a Health forum.

If all you're saying is to tell some one to see a doctor, then you could get reported because people want a more information then just having some one say "go see a doctor". Being reported for it is over kill I think, they should have just given you thumbs down if that's all you said. You could suggest what std they could have (if you do some research on their symptoms) but in the end I always recommend that some one sees a doctor to be sure.

Further Update = This was in Mens Health and it is against the rules to diagnose =

even IF you are medically qualified to do so = without seeing the patient.

The symptoms were not very specific but certainly needed a doctor, however I now suspect a Troll..

If you insulted them, or it didn't have anything to do with the question, then that could be a terms of service violation.

They may have reported you just because they didn't like your answer.

Update: it's a TOS, because you didn't actually answer the question. It makes it look like you are just going for points.
