HELP HELP! PLEASE! Warm milk spilled on mattress!?

Update:

My mom came in and threw off the sheets, soaked up the excess with bounty paper towels and then IRONED IT WITH AN IRON. So now it's burnt but dry...so is the milk out of the mattress? What should I do? What did ironing it achieve?

No, the mattress isn't free of milk. It should have been sponged with a cloth soaked in lukewarm water, then blotted with dry towels. Rule No. 1 - do NOT eat or drink sitting or lying on the bed.Ironing achieved nothing but burnng the surface of the iron.
