I had a nasty dream about head lice in my hair, and I could not get rid of them

Sorry for your disturbing dream. Please realize that dreams offer messages to help guide you using symbols. The head lice would be one of those symbols. Not being able to get rid of them would create the emotion of fear and desperation or even embarrassment and isolation.
It would appear that you feel fearful of being centred out from your friends for personal reasons and you try but unable to do anything about it. You fear being a social outcast and not being able to fit in.
I suggest that you don't worry about it. Have faith in yourself. When someone has faith and love for self and happy about who they are, they would attract friends.
