My Samsung LED TV won't turn on. WHY?

Hi, My Samsung UE40B6000 LED TV won't power up after replacing both the power and AV boards. Can any-one help with why this could be? The replacement AV oar has an aerial adapter for UE46B6000 so I was wondering if this board could be the problem. Please help with sensible answers as I'm trying to fix to give to a friend who is in desperate need!
