Consistent or Inconsistent?

England's results in their last seven Tests, against the West Indies, New Zealand and Australia are -

Win Loss Win Loss Win Loss Win.

Does this make them predictable or unpredictable? And what does it portend for Trent Bridge?

    Think you've completely stitched the Aussies up here with your double edged sword logic.

    Let me get this straight..... If England are consistent and predictable, they'll lose in Nottingham and win in London.

    If they're inconsistent and unpredictable they'll break this trend and win in Nottingham.

    Either way, I'm happy :-)

    Those results could suggest that teams are much closer to each other than some would have you believe. England hold the edge, in terms of their middle order and better functioning pace attack but it hasn't been as one sided as the last two Ashes series
