    You can use your Alias email address to replace your present email address you do not want. Once created....do this. 
    Hover your pointer over the GEAR...upper right...while in the INBOX view...click on SETTINGS.Click on ACCOUNTS....go to DEFAULT SENDING ACCOUNT....then click on the down arrow
    on the right side to display your other choices...Click on the one you want as primary.  Click SAVE when done.  
    You can also just click on the down arrow on the right side of the From line when composing a new email. It will be displayed...clicking on it will replace the other email presently in the From line

    This way you do not lose any account information and emails to either address will come to the same inbox. Especially useful if you have many sites associated with the address your are changing

    Your other option is to create a new email address.

    the bottom of the sign in area. (You must be signed out if using 
    the same computer.)
