So, I can argue that evolution is true because every single living thing on earth is the same Kind of life, Carbon Based Life. There is no other Kind of life.

NEED FOR DIRECT OBSERVATION

We can see mutation and natural selection of beneficial traits (See the Lenski Long Term Experiment). We do NOT need to see an event, IF, we have sufficient evidence to know it occurred. Whole Genome Sequencing meets this test. DNA does not lie and says with such high reliability that evolution occurred, it can be considered a fact.
