Find the domain of f(x,y)=sqrt(|x|+|y|-3), Help please show work. Thanks.?

In order to have a real value for f, you need
|x| + |y| >= 3.
And there is no simpler way to describe the domain,
which is the whole plane with a small diamond excluded at the center.
