Why can't I have dairy after getting my lip pierced?

I got my lip pierced yesterday and my piercer told me that I can't have meat, dairy, or alcohol for three days. Why exactly is that? And what exactly does it mean, anyway? Can I have milk in my tea? Butter on popcorn? Chicken broth?

    Because dairy products tend to gather bacteria, from what I know you can have Milk and any dairy products mixed in with something like milk in coffee,tea, cake, things like this. But Pure dairy products like yogurt , cheese, or just having a plain glass of milk is not recommended. I hope this information made sense and is usefulness you🙂

    Wow never heard of that but listen to the piercer just to be safe.
