what would happen if the cybermen tried to upgrade the borg?

for real, what would happen?

    Since the Borg are already cyborgs like the Cybermen, the Cybermen's upgrade facilities wouldn't know how to handle them.

    Likewise if the Borg tried to assimilate a Cyberman, the process would probably fail.

    Realistically they'd probably just agree to disagree and sign a diplomatic treaty to keep out of each other's way.

    Either that or they'd combine and create the CyBorgMen, and then the combined realities would be doomed.
