I agree, I have over 8,000 answers and have never had my profile set to private and I never will

Even though I have mine set to private I totally agree it just makes sense that a coward would do that .....doesn't mean that everyone who is private is a coward ...but I bet cowards do that !

I've set my profile to private because I've had people (more specifically trolls) go through my answer/questions and mass report them.

The less you reveal of yourself, your whereabouts and your privacy gives at least feeling of being a little more secure from IT invaders even if you do have a security program installed.
