    It would be against rules if purely a conversation but you formulated it as a perfectly valid question.

    As such it enables other answerers to also wish everyone the compliments of the season provided we do it in the form of answering your question.

    Sure its allowed and a kind New Year to you - it makes a change from someone asking are they pregnant or do they have cancer?
