Yahoo Answers is shutting down on 4 May 2021 (Eastern Time) and the Yahoo Answers website is now in read-only mode. There will be no changes to other Yahoo properties or services, or your Yahoo account. You can find more information about the Yahoo Answers shutdown and how to download your data on this help page.
Questions jump from those of two hours ago to those of five hours ago. There is now a shortage of questions. What is happening?

Nobody knows, and that's a problem. T/C like yourself should be informed of what is happening, and so you can post to other members on what is occurring. Yes, I realise that it only shows up that I've only joined two years ago, but I was member here a long time before that, and if I remember correctly, was the reason why I left....as the glitch that is happening now, lasted for weeks on end.
I have seen hiccups before, but nothing as long as this. Thinking back, do you remember all the January 10th Trolls? it appears to have started back then, as that was just bizarre.

I think the people (not) running YA are hell bent on shutting the place down. And it doesn't end with a lack of current questions either. Reporting is being ignored, posting comes up with a 'we are unable to .....' or when answers do go through, they are accompanied by a 'you have already answered .....'.
I can understand the odd glitch (but not the delay in getting it corrected) but generally this place isn't working and that's putting me off bothering to be honest. I should get on with the HOUSEWORK!!!
