Do you believe a Zombie virus is possible?

If you believe so, what are some ideas on how?

I think it depends on how you define 'zombie'. In traditional folklore, a zombie is a reanimated corpse. If you stick with this strict definition, then it is safe to say that no such virus could exist. The human body needs a functioning brain and functioning organs to survive; a virus isn't going to change that.

If you relax the definition of zombie to include more modern interpretations of the concept, which involve living 'infected' hosts, then this could be more plausible (though still highly unlikely). The movie 28 Days Later toyed with this concept, as did the video game The Last of Us. Both are far fetched, although there are examples of viruses and parasites in nature which have been shown to alter the behavior of the host.

No. But who knows, mother nature might pull a fast one on mankind.

No, because there is no such things as zombies.

No. If people were somehow zombiefied, they'd still have to follow some basic rules of biology: They would need to eat and drink water and sleep periodically. They wouldn't be able to move superfast or be relentless even if somehow hyped up on adrenaline...because adrenaline does wear off. They might conceivably be rendered basically brain dead, responding only to certain stimuli, but denied food and water they would soon become too weak to move or threaten anyone.

And if they were rendered "dead," you wouldn't need a head shot to deactivate them. Without a beating heart to move oxygenated blood around a body, it simply ceases to function.

Depends on what you mean exactly

I do believe that one day science will be able to bring people back to life. There are also drugs out there that turn people into savages who can kill and eat people, this has been documented numerous times.

All it takes is for someone to mix both of those and technically you have your zombie.

Yes. A zombie type of illness has already been noted in panda bears... just needs a vector (maybe a mosquito) that keeps the virus alive and communicable to infect a new host...
