Does it bother you what gender your doctor is or does it depend on the problem?

Many women have seen me naked, and all doctor have identical training.

I've always preferred a male doctor - but that's my personal preference. I find male doctors to (usually) be more caring and gentle than female doctors, especially with female patients. But either gender is just as competent as the other.

As far as nurses: I don't care if they're male or female.

It bothers me a little. I had a scrotal cyst removed less than a year ago, and most of the exams and treatments were done by women. The only male involved was the actual surgeon. I'd rather have a male deal with my privates, but it's not a big thing. My wife got a big kick out of it.

It depends on the problem. When it comes to woman's and emotional health id perfer a women because they are more relatable and have what I have. But if I break a bone I don't really care because everyone has the same bones.

I feel more comfortable with a doctor of my own gender but I don't HATE all other doctors. I just have a preference

Doesn't matter to me. I've seen both men and women doctors.

    Competence matters much more.
