Will the Gameboy Advance SP be a collectors item?

I want to sell my GBA SP now but I don t want to sell it now and couples years down the road it s worth hundreds or even thousands of dollars. So will it ever be worth more money as time goes on?

You're probably still 5-10 years away before the GBA series starts becoming a "vintage" & start getting appraised a bit more by retro game stores. Unless you have a collector's / limited edition version (like the NES / Famicom GBA), you'll likely have a hard time getting the desired selling value (of $100+) unless you have it like new-in-box.

Store prices are generally based on supply & market demand. Purchase prices at said stores are generally around 50-60% of the selling price they set... So unless the store can get away with selling it for $200, they won't offer the $100+ for it.

No. Not unless you have a special edition GBA SP that's brand new and sealed. Such as the Legend of Zelda themed GBA.

Even an original B&W Gameboy is not worth hundreds of dollars.
