No, not in the slightest, but they taste like $hit and a texture that is worse.
I was raised in the olden days when foods were natural organic and taste like they were supposed to taste.
You could buy (or barter) real and fresh vegies at roadside farmers stands or grow them yourself.
Our chickens didn't have egg steroids and got REAL ranch eggs for breakfast, even REAL butter for your homemade bread.
I class todays foods somewhere between garbage and sewage.

I'm aware of them... I avoid when I can, but the reality is most foods (even organic) are somehow genetically modified. And they're not necessarily harmful

Kind of, just don't trust unnatural foods... tampered with Mother Nature's produce is disgusting, unnatural, and a disaster that will mess up the natural cycle.
