My cat lost her appetite?

We recently moved house and I've noticed that my cat has not been touching her food. She drinks water, and she's used her litterbox, but she's not eating.

I'm a little worried because we had to separate our cats (partially because my cat had rather badly injured our other cat in a brawl) during the move. Is there anything I can do to entice her to eat? She's already rather slim... the appetite loss is really worrying me.

To elaborate in the previous answers, if the fasting goes on for more than four days, she need to see a vet ASAP. Cats canmt make their own taurine, which is a crucial amino acid for their hearts, brain and nerve function, etc. They become ill very quickly without it.

If you're so worried, then GO TO A VET.

Meat baby food, slightly warmed in the microwave or KFC chicken with the bones and coating removed are two things I resort to when ours won't eat.

How long ago is 'recently'? Do you mean yesterday or two weeks ago? If it's yesterday, I wouldn't worry about it. If it's more than 4 days I think I'd take the cat to the vet.

Hunger is the strongest instinct in cats they will eventually eat unless there is a blockage or severe illness. The best way to entice a cat to eat is not not feed them for a a while (take the food away) then introduce food like 3-4 hours later. Make a big deal of giving the food with your voice, etc... Make sure they're not eating somewhere else, like if you let them outside sometimes of people leave food out for strays. Throw away any food that's been sitting out more than 24 hours until they get their appetite back.

It is common for stressed out cats who are not at all sick to go 2-3 days without eating. If you see no poops in the litterbox for more than 48 hours then you need to get help so save up for a visit to the vet just in case.

Take her to the vet. When cats don't eat it damages their liver.
