Is the Eternal City (Rome) a Romantic City ?

    If you are with a shrewd screeching in your ear about long lines and the heat and the damn motorino's....... well, so much for any romance.

    It really all depends on who you are with , and how in love with them, you are.

    Then......in that case, .......anywhere can be romantic.

    But sure.......of course Rome retains a great deal of old world charm......how can it not, with all the ancient buildings and ruins? But it's also a thriving , working modern city, and every day people live there, and want you to stop gawking and get the hell off the sidewalks, because they are trying to get to work.

    Yes. There is a film. 'Three coins in a fountain'. It is enchanting.

    Go at night to the Termini rail station and tell me...be aware though, bring a knife with yourself.
