Why do people wear socks at home? Why do people have bare feet at home instead of wearing socks?

    Given the contrasting question I'll say...

    Personal preference.

    Sometimes bare feet is how I go if it is humid... but my OCD hates debris on the bottom of my feet... so then socks come into play.
