First thing you need is permission to move in. A visa.

You show in your application what you offer that Canada NEEDS or WANTS. You need to be a better applicant than about 90 % of the others also trying.

A visa application is similar to a job application.

Citizenship is not mandatory. About 5 years after you move in you can decide to add

Canadian Citizenship and have dual Citizenship. You might decide to give up your US Citizenship at that time. Or you do nothing. You do not have to be a citizen to continue living in Canada.

That date is about ten years from now. Worry about getting in.

The application process can be a year or two for processing.

They have many reasons to say no not at this time. Up to you to provide many reasons to say YES for your situation.

Most of your questions can be answered here.

After you have read it you can come back here and ask a more precise question. Many here really do know their stuff about this.

The needs and open jobs are not identical in every city, town and village from one end of the country to the other.Up to you to find where you are needed. Each province has their particular needs that change year to year.

Look here for more on that part.

About 10,000 every year move to Canada. About 100,000 apply.from the USA.

Best chance is about age 25 the time required for a very good education and the related high level of employment skills. STEM field is best. Masters Degree or higher.

Just like the USA Canada has more than enough unemployed high school graduates that also want the any job.

Possible to do not a fast or easy process. A large percentage marry a Canadian. , Getting married is not a guarantee but does help.Breeding before visa just complicates the issues for the Adult. The child gets to go back and forth as a dual citizen from day of birth.

College in Canada is just different than College in USA, UNIVERSITY is similar.

Being a permanent resident in Canada is not a bad thing. They get almost the same stuff that a CITIZEN can get.

Big difference is being able to vote or getting some high level security clearance type of job.

Suggest you do some background reading here before you start the application process.

Opurt referred you to the correct website that you should answer all of your questions.

But as far as citizenship is concerned, unlike the US, you can stay in Canada indefinitely as a Permanent Resident.
