Does it help to sleep naked when you have a cold or flu?

Update:

I was told it helps to control body temperature and prevents the transfer of germs.

    Help what exactly? And how would that be any different than pjs? I can’t see how that would be any significantly better. Transfer of germs makes zero sense, and pjs are not significant enough to impact control of temp.

    If you are running a high fever then it would help to keep from getting overheated.

    Maybe and under warm covers to help improve how you feel by sweating, with lots of dripping sweat, maybe.
