Have a lot of people from Vancouver been to Victoria BC?

It is so close, I have gone to Victoria for a family event and come back to Vancouver the same day. It is no big deal to go there. So pretty well everyone from Vancouver has been there.

Victoria is a nice day trip from Vancouver, the shops are different, and it has some lovely old buildings.

A trip to Victoria is pretty much one of the most obvious day trip options.

Sure. I should think most have. It isn't very far, and, it is a really pretty trip. Why wouldn't they do it?

I suppose everyone says they have been to Victoria because they have been to Victoria. The two cities aren't far apart, the ferry ride is scenic, Victoria has some nice things to see and do, many people have friends or relatives in both places, and if you're going to some other place on Vancouver Island then you might very well have to pass through Victoria anyway. What it's like to live in those cities is hard to describe.

It's only 70 miles and a beautiful travel destination, so I imagine at lot of people have been there.

I was born and raised in Vancouver and I've been to Victoria many times. It's just a short ferry ride away and many people like to go there for a short easy holiday (Victoria is nice). Victoria is also the capital of BC, despite Vancouver being the major population center, so people go there for business reasons too.
