I don t see how Kate Middleton is a gold digger, she met William in college, when neither had any money at the time! Meghan strikes me as the type as a social climber moreso than a gold digger, she wants the status and power that comes along with being a royal moreso than the money.

Why don t think they like each other? They have very different personalities, and often those tend to clash, espically when they are closely associated, that would be why they aren t getting along.

Kate Middleton's ancestors were Kings and Barons. No need for gold-digging.

Perhaps because she notices her own faults in her, and she's threatened because she has to share the limelight and fortune

I don’t believe they are gold diggers, both of them are hard workers in their own right. Kate was in marketing before but she still is active in charities and matters concerning the royal family. Meghan Markle was a hardworking TV actress, and is now devoted to her husband. Both had to give up their careers for love and to serve the duties of the royal family, that’s all. To marry into the royal family means that you have to give up your career and put the family first. Being part of the royal family is no joking matter.

I think the reason why would have to remain private, but I personally believe that Kate only feels a bit of concern (not really hatred), since Meghan is a two-time divorcee, and/or is trying to change up some ages-old traditions that have been kept in the palace grounds. I think Kate is more concerned about the reputation of the family and maintaining family traditions—I don’t believe that she really dislikes Meghan.
