That you HAVE TO LEAVE A TIP. is this so, and if so why did they set it up like this and is there a minimum amount or percentage that you have to tip?

Yes they make you tip before you order your food. I honestly dislike Doordash because if you have a problem with you're order they do NOT want to refund you any money over a 5 dollar bill. Like today for example I ordered $16 worth of food when I got it unfortunately the sandwich was soggy and cold, my order was also wrong. I contacted support and they refunded me $5 although I wanted my full refund except for tip. They would not do it and I even had picture proof of how bad my food was. Doordash has bad reviews for not wanting to refund crappy orders.
Uber Eats is probably bar far the best with refunding if you ever have a problem.
