Why didn't they just shoot down the drone that shut down Gatwick Airport today?

    It is much easier to "shoot down" those controlling the drones.

    I agree, but suppose they (the military?) can't just bang off bullets in the hope of bringing down these drones.

    It would take a good marksman to hit a small moving target at distance but there was a picture of a marksman so it was something they were prepared to attempt.

    Keeps disappearing and reappearing. They need lasers and a high powered sighting system.
