Why hasn t Prince Philip been sued by the young woman he injured in the accident he caused?

Since time immemorial, royalty the world over has regarded themselves as above the law.  Magna Carta was introduced to stop a reckless monarch and should equally be applied to reckless consorts. 
Any other 97 year old citizen would have had their licence revoked - no questions asked. The injured young woman will be dust before she gets an apology from that old fart. She should sue him.

and then it will only be between insurance companies

Give it time, The traffic police will be doing their investigating, and if they find the Duke at fault, she can sue then.

It has not even been proved that philip was to blame in the crash, if he is found to be at fault his insurance will pay and she should keep off the tv!

There is no proven case yet.   Which I assume is why the DRIVER, not the silly passenger, is keeping her mouth shut.  It has to be proven that the Prince was at fault first.

I hope she takes him to the cleaners. It was obviously his fault, being Royal doesn't stop Philip being a dangerous idiot.

Probably because she knows that she would get nothing for a broken wrist. This is not America where they sue people for the slightest thing. Also it hasn t been proven yet that it was his fault, the police are still investigating it. As well as the fact that she is getting plenty from the newspapers and TV people.
