My boyfriend and I are traveling to Rome in March (3days) I m wondering if anyone could supply me with a plan on what we could do each day?
Hi, I have booked a 3 day holiday for my boyfriend and I in Rome during the month of March, I m wondering if anyone could supply me with an plan on what we could do and maybe how much we would spend, we are not planning on shopping or anything just sight seeing and eating food we also do not drink. I was considering taking a day trip to Pompeii, would this be advised? If someone could help me out it would be appreciated
Thanks.

A day trip to Pompeii is three hours each way by coach. You can see lots of ancient Roman remains in Rome itself: The Roman Forum and the Colosseum, for a start. Buy your tickets for both at the entrance to the Roman Forum and skip queues at the Colosseum. That's the best part of one day. You could also explore the ancient Appian Way, which was the ancient road from the south to Rome. There are many other things to see and do, and your best bet is to get hold of a travel guide book to Rome and have a look at that.

Colosseum and Forum, 1 day. Vatican and Vatican museums, 1 day, Pantheon/Spanish Steps/Trevi Fountain is a wide area of Roman life, 1 day. That leaves time for life, walking, eating and general enjoyment. And there is so much more to Rome than just that.

there are places around you can book coach trips ..book one to tivoli gardens ..you go past the popes summer palace ...the gardens have 700 fountains ...all fed by water from mountains ...70 miles away ...and you get the experience of seeing the coach run uphill on its own ..backwards ...without the engine ...only two places on the planet does that
