My newfoundland puppy won't stop barking. Which type of shock collar would you recommend?

Pay more attention to your puppy. He's barking because he's bored.

Sounds like you should have researched dog behaviour before you bought one. Too late now. Puppies like children have the need to play and find their boundaries. You will have to ascertain what need the pup has to bark. Is it lacking company, someone to play with, just happy and playing or bored? Shock collars are only for nuisance dogs that have not been trained properly. A large bone for the pup to chew on should occupy its attention for a time. You need to research some puppy training classes and read a few books on dog training.

Take it to the vet and ask them. A shock collar seems to mean for your puppy

Better to find out why he is barking and do some gentle training to stop it.

I wouldn't use a shock collar, those are not good for puppies or for people that aren't 100% how to use them. Instead, try googling ways to encourage a puppy to be quiet. Teach the "quiet" command, and give the puppy plenty of exercise. A sleeping puppy isn't a barking puppy :)

How about actually TRAINING the dog, like regular owners do?

I like the collars that have the led lights tbst light up when you press the shock button.

We wouldn't recommend ANY shock collar....not that you have a Newfoundland puppy... I haven't got a clue why you keep posting fake questions about a Newfie but I do know it is pathetic.

    Shock Collar on a puppy?

Re-read what you wrote and replace the words "newfoundland puppy" with "newborn baby" and see how ridiculous that sounds.

Train your puppy, spend time with it, reward it for good behaver, and correct when there is an issue.

Don't just electrocute it because its annoying you.
