Wisdom is intelligence gained by doing, intelligence means you are smart enough to work through something on your own. Or that you can learn to become one of wisdom. Confused!

Intelligence.......is your wife asking if this dress makes her look fat.....and you accurately list all the ways the dress does in fact make her look fat.

Wisdom is knowing to shut your damn mouth, and tell her she looks beautiful.

Intelligence is a capability; wisdom is having the experience to know how to make the best use of it.

Intelligence is cognitive. Thought. By Wisdom, most people mean emotional learning and experience of when things are not as they seem. People lying, for example, including authority figures. Also the interplay between people - knowing what motivates people, when a thing rings false or seems too good to be true, or someone seems too calm, or is affecting some upset that doesn't seem genuine, is put on. It is similar to what people mean by common sense, or street smarts.

Intelligence is based on aptitude, and often genetics, where wisdom is acquired by both failure, success, and experience.

Intelligence is possessing information. Wisdom is knowing how to use it.
