Without actually going through them no. In any case that would be a breach of their privacy. Believe it or not your kids have a right to their privacy.
You don't say how old the child is. If they are pre-teen then you can set up parental controls on there devices so you can restrict what they can access. But with social media I am afraid you can't.
If they are a teenager then they will hate you forever if you try.
Unless you are worried about their safety then I would leave well alone.
Remember when you were growing up? I bet you made some mistakes and poor choices and you learned from them. You need to let your kids do the same.
