Why do people care so much about being "normal" when it isn't normal to be great at something?

i want to thank u for answering my question 7 years ago and recently. to answer ur question, it has to do with evolution. in evolution u want to be as big as possible. which is why dieting never works. u lose the weight and always or almost always gain it back "and more." that's because evolution is about getting and gaining the most evolutionary advantage as possible. so if your body can retain the weight, it does. the caveman was scrawny and small. so by all means the bigger the better. it's like counting the numbers of zeroes in the first 100 integers multiplied. the more fives the better, and the number of twos are so abundant it doesnt matter just like it doesnt matter to be smaller. only bigger.
so you can look at people with problems and say u got it good. but that's never the case. u look at 8 supermodels and 3.5 billion other people are not relevant. that's like tony sopranos mom yelling at his dad. ur suppose to better urself evolutionarily. not about being nice or moral. its abt kping up with the joneses, not saying i got it good enough. thats bc if you feel happy for the joneses ull be left behind. if you do what u can to succeed in life that's all that matters. so nobody sees averge as noml. they see the best as where the bar is set. the gold standard.
