True or false: Quebecois are British, have British accents and wave the Union Jack?

That's what a "French" Canadian told me.

He lied!! Of course there are British people in Quebec, either residential/working or holidaying but given it's very 'French' there, I seriously doubt they be waving the Union Jack, unless there happens to be British /Canadian royalty visiting. The people in Quebec are predominantly fiercely 'French - Canadians'.

    But you surely know this?
