Is there a remote start kit for a generac GP7500E generator?
The generator is gasoline-fueled with electric start. Is there a kit available to convert it to remote starting? Or plans to jury rig one.?

frankly, this seems unsafe, which is probably why it isn't readily available. using one of these generators requires that you make certain sure that the main power is disconnected from the utility. Ergo, human inspection required.
[a remote start mechanism would have to disconnect the utility supplied power. that would require a remotely controlled relay capable of handling 200 amps @ 220 volts [size to be safe]. that's an industrial quality item and would require a significant battery backup of its own just to activate it. Yes, this can be done. No, it isn't cheap or easy. It's a job best left to a professional electrician -- he'll get the required parts from an electrical supply house, including the trickle charging system for the battery.]
