HELL IS THE ABSENCE OF GOD, JESUS DID NOT GO TO THE FIERY HELL.>>>>
By his death and Resurrection, Jesus opened heaven . Prior to that time all who died went to "hell"; however, the just went to a place in hell referred to as "the Bosom of Abraham," where they would be comforted. The parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus (Luke 16:19-31) seems to indicate that there were two parts of hell. Both Lazarus and the rich man died and went to hell, but Lazarus was comforted in the bosom of Abraham while the rich man was in a place of torment. A great chasm separated the two parts.NOTE THAT THEY DID NOT DENY JESUS SIMPLY BECAUSE JESUS WAS NOT BORN AND RESURRECTED AS YET. WHERE SOULS NOW A DAYS SOME DENY JESUS, THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE!!!

We deserve death, but Jesus paid the price to redeem us. God's desire to show us mercy cannot override the need for justice to be done.
If you show contempt for God's grace and scorn the gift of eternal life, there is no sacrifice left for you.
Please listen carefully (your life is at stake):
By law, if a guilty party who is sentenced to death, refuses a pardon by an authority willing to give it; the court has no power to force the pardon on the person.
That’s why people must LET God forgive them.
God provided an atoning sacrifice: and He suffered greatly to give it.
Can you imagine sacrificing your own innocent child so some criminal could walk away scott free?
If they don’t take the offer, that means Jesus was tortured in their place for nothing, and the Lord has no recourse to help them.
If my Lord, whom I serve and adore, was brutally murdered in their place - and they CHOOSE to reject this gift - they will deserve what they get. No one will be complaining about how unfair it is.
PS. I really don't care if you don't like the message: it's my sacred responsibility to tell it to you.

Hell is the grave and many were there before and after Jesus. When he said he preached to the people in the grave they were not humans. But the wicked spirit persons who sinned. He told them their days were numbered. www.jw.org

Jesus never existed so your question is moot.

Not "IS paying" but "HAS paid". It's a transaction completed nearly 2,000 years ago, and it succeeded because the crucified Christ was resurrected from the grave on the third day. This proved Him to be the Son of God, as He said He was - Romans 1:1-4.
Anybody in the past or the present who puts faith in what Jesus did and believes on His name (John 1:12-13) is delivered from the punishment their sins deserve. They will avoid hell. That's because Jesus bore the punishment for their sins that they ought to receive. All who have faith in Christ will have their sins erased.
As for the last person to go to hell, well that's detailed in Revelation 20:11-15. Tragically, many will refuse to trust in what Jesus did to deliver them from hell, and die with all their sin remaining. Only putting faith in what Christ did erases sins, you see. Huge numbers of people scoff at the very idea and so their sins remain. If they do not repent before they die, they will end up in hell. It's still in the future, whoever the last person to go there turns out to be. People are going to hell this very minute and will continue to do so until after the end of the Day of Resurrection & Judgment. Have a read of those Revelation verses and ask whether your name will be found written in Christ's Book of Life, or not.

Jesus didn't go to hell and be punished. Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins. No punishment in hell necessary for Him. We will go to hell if we refuse to believe in Jesus for eternal life, that is what causes hell.
.
Nobody can be good enough to avoid hell. The truth is that death leads to immediate heaven or hell, depending only on whether the person believed in Jesus for eternal life, or not.
.
The truth is that Jesus loves you and wants to bless your life freely :) Most of all, Jesus wants you with Him forever, and not in hell. The truth is that every belief except one will lead to eternal torment in the lake of fire for every person. Because nothing pays for our sins except the death and blood of Jesus, the sacrifice of Jesus that is already accomplished by Him . Jesus loves you! The truth is that Jesus is God, and Jesus died on the cross to pay for all of our sins in full, and then Jesus resurrected from the dead. Nothing else pays for our sins, not works, not deeds, not religions. So the only way to heaven and to avoid hell, is by believing in Jesus for eternal life (John 6:47), without adding any of your own works (Romans 4:5). Believe in Jesus to take you to heaven, and you will be in heaven, no matter what, guaranteed. That easy, thanks to Jesus! Tell Jesus that you thank Him that you will be with Him in heaven when you die, because you believe in Jesus! It is too late to be saved, after death

What Jesus did was die so we wouldn't have to. IF we believe not only that He was - and IS - God but that he in fact died for our sins we will be forgiven and on our way to heaven. John 3:16 sums it all up nicely. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish [be eventually annihilated] but have everlasting life. [in heaven]
TAKE NOTE - the person answering as Chris 'copies and pastes' the same horrible LIE every time they give an answer. NOTHING MAN CAN DO OR SAY, "...will lead to eternal torment in the lake of fire for every person." The choice is between LIFE and DEATH.

The Prophet-messiah, peace and blessings be upon him, is not paying anyone's sins and will not carry anyone's burdens either and he will not dwell in Hellfire on Day of Judgement. That I believe and he never went to hell.

Hell is a fearsome horrible place. You will learn this firsthand someday, God willing.
