    they called the native people.   Chinese, Malay and Indian are all native people....   they all work together to build the country from the ground up.  

    And no... there are no native American indians in Singapore.....

    The only "natives" would be the indigenous Malaysians who's land was taken from them by the British when they created Singapore as a tax refuge.

    That being said, they call themselves Singaporeans and the national language is English.

    Singaporeans in modern Singapore. however, before 1819, there were a lot of Orang Lauts or native Malays in Singapore.

    Singapore population has changed a lot in the last 20 years. Now, it is a huge mix of many nationalities in Singapore. There are lots of foreigners in Singapore.
