Sam's Club is charging me almost $21 to ship 1 pack of dental floss to me.!!!!!?

Question

When we contacted them, we were told that it was per our state regulation, California that is! However, we were also told that if I upgrade my membership to a plus (for an additional $15) I get free shipping! I am very upset, how is it that the state regulation does not apply to the high shipping fee when I upgrade?? I will be ordering on amazon it's only $4 more and free shipping. I have 5 family members and we are down to our last single pack! I just thought that this was outrageous....!!!! Has anyone experienced this????

Buy it somewhere else.  There are plenty of places who do NOT charge this much or just go to the store and buy them.

I think buying them from a store will be safer and cheaper. Just to avoid this same problem next time.

We just went through this with CVS, free prescription deliveries but charged us 10.00 for postage. We waited 3 days for the door to ring and it was mailed. We could've picked it up. We didn't agree to shipping so we're contacting our CC to have it removed. Please send it back and cancel membership and contact your CC company. This price gauging needs to stop.

Welp, gotta agree with other answers. Next trip out, pull on ur mask n gloves and pick up some dental floss. Also , it's yet another attempt to get people to upgrade and spend more. I would write back.....Mk, I'll upgrade to cancel my stupid order and my Sam's Club crap. You understand that with me? Az floss that.

buy local,get a roll of a hundred yd roll  of double thread nylon  or cotton from a thrift shop,rather spend 21 bucks or a buck and less for  5 years supply?
the thread w black color means you can see what you  scrape out,,you can put the thread in a capful of your fav mouthwash or astringent,

I just ask my dentist for floss. Not always but at times. Some dentist offices are open during the on going flu bug we have. See if yours is open.
