Just turn up and apply. There are no rules. Only at international schools and universities do you need a work permit.

Why come to Indonesia? it is not a good place to live. they tried to kill many white foreigners in Bali and Starbucks in JAKARTA. as right now.... foreigners are screened tightly because they have PSBB in Indonesia (the term for lock down)

Youtube channel.. They will be enthusiastic when you teach Indonesia people on your channel. I've seen someone coming from New York and Canada making YouTube channels to educate the coolest language, you know..
But.. You have to meet with people from indonesia.

Most employers require at least a certificate program in TEFL/TESL. The better jobs in the better places require a master's degree in TESL or applied linguistics. Go to eslcafe.com, click on Jobs, and you can see the requirements.
