Found Animal?

If you found a lost animal, that was overly affectionate and obviously somebody's pet...what steps would you tke to find the owner/s? How long would you continue to search.......

I would be really wary of any animal that I don't know that is affectionate! An animal with rabies can be very affectionate! Or it can be very angry. But I would take a picture of the animal. And I'd put it in the newspaper. And try to get the animal back to its owner.

i would try to find the owners, and you could check and see if they have a chip, if it was yours youd want someone to give it back to you so do unto others

Notify local veterinary, animal control, shelters etc.

    Posters in local area.

    Ad in local paper.

Advertise in any local online forums you are a member of

Need to advertise for at least 1 month, 3 months would be better.
